Note: The music, color scheme and even characters for this video are taken from a 1965 Academy Award winning film by Chuck Jones, The Dot and the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics.
If you would like to see it first, or want a refresher, it can be found here.

This Youtube video is what spare time and a 30 day trial of Macromedia Flash were able to do toward publicly disclosing a set of ideas that use mobile devices to reduce the friction of a daily commute. If done properly, they reduce the friction of carpooling as well, making multi-occupant commutes feasible for more and more people. This was sent to Google just after Valentine's day 2008 during the Android Challenge, as an illustration of what could be done with an open mobile system.  It is a very rough draft.

Commuters in large cities are already stuck in their cars, held hostage, enough as it is. This video record from 2007-2008 should help suggest a few alternatives.

A combination of a) difficulty syncing audio and motion on different client platforms  b) finite artistic skills combined with c) disclosure mission accomplished to trigger a decision not to purchase Flash, as would be required to finish this rough work.
